Arboair AB and Forsler ApS have entered into a strategic collaboration to integrate high-precision AI forest analysis directly into the Skovkortet.dk platform. This partnership aims to democratize access to advanced forest data, making it easier for Danish forest owners and managers to make sustainable, data-driven decisions.

Managing forests efficiently requires accurate, up-to-date information, something that has traditionally required costly and time-consuming manual inventory. Through this collaboration, Arboair’s specialized AI technology, which analyzes aerial imagery to provide detailed data on tree species, health, and volume, will become available via Forsler’s digital platform.

Better decision-making around the corner: The collaboration focuses on technical and commercial integration, allowing users of Skovkortet to purchase Arboair’s analysis services directly within their existing workflow. The resulting data, such as stress indicators for early bark beetle detection or precise inventory for forestry operations (eg. harvest data), will be automatically integrated into the user's Forsler account.

“For us, technology is only valuable when it’s easy to use,” says Jacob Hjalmarsson, COO of Arboair. “We believe that forest owners and managers deserve access to the most reliable, up-to-date data available. By integrating our AI analysis directly into Skovkortet, we remove the friction. Users can then access high-precision insights about every single tree on their property without leaving the platform they use for their daily management.”

Strengthening the Digital Toolbox: For Forsler, the partnership represents a significant expansion of the digital tools available to their users. Skovkortet is already a central hub for over 3,000 forest properties in Denmark, used for planning, documentation, and overview.

“We are constantly working to strengthen the digital toolbox for our users,” says Henrik Neergaard-Petersen, COO/CFO of Forsler ApS. “Collaborating with Arboair allows us to offer advanced capabilities that translate aerial images into concrete, actionable knowledge. This means faster overviews, more precise data for planning, and the ability to spot risks like insect attacks much earlier than before.”

Key Benefits for Forest Owners:

  • Precision: Access to tree-level data including species, height, and health status.
  • Efficiency: Reduce the need for expensive, manual field inventories.
  • Proactivity: Detect forest damage, such as bark beetle outbreaks or storm damage, at an earlier stage.
  • Simplicity: Seamless ordering and data delivery within the existing Skovkortet interface.

The collaboration will initially launch in Denmark through Skovkortet.dk, serving as a pilot market for potential future expansion into other countries.
